Spring
by Sophie (Mole Class)

Squirrels jump very high.
Pink blossom covers brown branches.
Robins have red tummies.
In Spring birds fly to their nests.
Nuts are brown and squirrels eat them.
Green leaves grow at the bottom of daffodils.

Lots of of really nice descriptions of Spring Sophie, I have seen a couple of red breasted robins in my garden, although they don't stay long as my big dog scares them off!

What a colourful poem, Sophie. I loved your describing words because they painted such a vivid picture in my mind of the pink blossom, the red robin and the green leaves.
